Thrifty Thrifting...and Two Cute Pincushions!

Vintage Thrift Shop
I made this quirky sign for those days I post my thrifting treasures.  Thursday my sister and I went north to Salt Lake City to visit the Sandy Antique Mall and...of course...Savers.  I'm glad to be able to spend time with my sister...she has a sharper eye for great finds than I do.
Gurley Witch Candle circa 1959.
This was a great find!  She is 8.5" tall and originally sold for 59 cents.
$10!  I have her twin sister that I found years ago.

Pretty Blue Bird and Red Rose Pillowcases
I hate to pass up single pillowcases.  These were only $7 each!

I found a bag with 12 vintage baby cards for $4.
It will be so fun to send them to new moms in my neighborhood!
And what cute crafts!

I've already posted this planter as a pin cushion.
I found it for $3.
Vintage baby planters make darling baby shower decorations.
One could make a garland using the baby cards for a vintage theme, featuring storks, baby shoes, etc.
I've even found some of the vintage booklets of shower games.

Cute Pincushions Part Two

Nothing is Cuter than Red and White Polka Dot Mushrooms...
...Or Pixie Elves.
Darling Bunny Planter.
I used an Easter theme adding a wee nest with eggs.
The fabric had words in French describing rabbits.
