Daisy, Daisy!

What's in a Name?

After we lost Jack, our golden retriever, I sadly took the name letters down from the shelf in the mud room...leaving an empty space on the shelf and in our hearts.  Then Daisy came!  She is so bright and pretty...

...and always in motion.  As sunny as a daisy in springtime is our baby.  This week I felt it was time for Daisy to take her place upon the high shelf.  So with some paper mache letters from Hobby Lobby, October Afternoon paper and 3Dimensional daisy stickers...our mud room is now a brighter and sunnier space.

Close-up of D and A

Close-up of I S Y.
The letters look so bright and vintage-y.

Not a great pic...there are no windows in this room off the garage.
But I was able to find a cute daisy cannister to help brighten things up.

This is just a short post...still working on the next posts for my granddaughters.  They are coming down tonight for a quick (un-expected) stay...a cousin on their Dad's side is getting married tomorrow.  Gotta go get a few things ready.
