Blog Book and More Wedding Projects!

Finished at last!...
My goal for today was to finish printing my blog and putting it in the binder.  I had only been blogging for 4 and a half months at year's end, so I was able to fit my entire blog in a 3" three-ring binder.  I like the ones with the clear pockets on the outside so I can decorate it how I like.

Divider Pages...
I made some divider pages for each month.  This year...I will make fancier ones since I will be printing the blog posts from each month as it ends.  Since this was an experiment, I don't think it looks too bad.  Everything is neat and tidy in page protectors.

I kind of lost interest in embellishing December.  (My grandkids came over.)

 Wedding Projects...
The picture on the left is something I pinned on Pinterest.  It's found on Scrapbook.com.  I'm working on this for Amber's wedding on February 11.  It's been fun doing the decorations.  It's just a small affair, since Amber has been married before.

My version...
It looks a little busy up against the book case...but I'm liking it a lot.
Thank you, Christmas tag swaps, for teaching me a few tag techniques. Lol!
A few closeups of tags...

The frame and letters are white glitter cardstock.
I painted the little clothespins and sprinkled them with glitter.

I'm making scrapbook pages to sign...rather than a guest book.
She can put the pages in her book.

We're having a Valentine's Day theme for the shower.  I'll post more of the decorations, etc. in another post.  Thank you for letting me share some of the projects I've been working on.

Hi Shirley.

Love, love, love the book you made. Now can you share with me how you printed your blog off. Did you pick up the side bars when you printed it? I want to do this myself...I don't have the money to pay to have it done. So any suggestions would help.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the decorations for the wedding.
Have fun.

Shirley,

Your blog book is so cute! I love that idea. I agree with Cindy-can you share with us how you printed everything off? If you have time, that is! Your wedding tags in the frame are so pretty. What meaningful and personal touch.

Shirley,

I love the idea of making a custom guest book/scrapbook pages! What a neat idea--I'm sure the guests will have so much fun signing that. It will be more fun to look at in the future too than just a regular guest book!

I'm crazy about your blog book, Shirley, and I so admire you paper crafters! Would you consider doing a post in the future about how you printed out your blog? I've thought about doing that too, and it sounds easy enough, but I'm sure it wasn't. Please share!

Shirley,
I tell you, the blog book is a great idea! I think you have a great idea. I would like to try that as well. Looks like when you get settled down, after the wedding, you should show us how you did that!
The tag frame is also great! What a perfect gift. And also the guest book pages. Have fun with the wedding!
Thank you so much for sharing. I really enjoy your blog!
Blessings,
Susie

Your blog binder and dividers are adorable, Shirley! BTW, are you aware of Blurb? It's a blog book service; had my first blog book made a couple of months ago and I love it!
