New Circus Toy...and Front Door!

More Circus Summer Fun!

German Tin Litho Ferris Wheel
I found it yesterday at Sandy Antique Mall.
Now I have to collect more...lol!

Detail of Riders...the colors are so bright and happy!
The key was included and it works...turns like a charm!

Patriotic/Circus Front Door
Still a work in progress...lol!
Lots of burlap and red/white/blue thingamajigs.

Closer View

Circus Wreath.
Antique Elephant Bread Board was a gift from my fun friend
Burlap ribbon...and bows made from torn strips of fabric.
Mod Podge paper mache stars.
Kinda busy-looking...but I'm getting fond of it.

I made four circus poster plaques...

...and four clown plaques.
No scary clowns allowed!

Aren't these the tackiest flowers ever?
And don't you just love them?
I have a hard time finding red/white/blue flowers...these were from Walmart.

Happy Summer Decorating!

Some Circus Posters...Enjoy!

The Ferris Wheel is a definite find ... Perfect and such great colors. The elephant board turned out charmingly, I think that the burlap was the perfect accent to help tie it in with all the great colors!! You never, no never, cease to amaze me! :-)

A few years ago I saw several tin toys like this at HomeGoods - and I didn't buy them! Can you believe that!!! I thought I had too much stuff already. What was I thinking!!! I love your door, all your decorations, and your tin toy!

The Circus World Museum is right outside of the Wisconsin Dells, I'm thinkin' you might need one more trip to the upper midwest to go there. The restored circus wagons are beyond description!!! Love the graphics and your FERRIS WHEEL, you find a Merry Go Round and I'm on the way to Utah!

What a happy, happy post! Those flowers are tacky but in the best way. And that Ferris wheel is just too darling. I can see that being addictive.
