I have always loved how Mary Engelbreit decorated tables for Christmas. The picture on the left is from her 2002 book Here Comes Santa Claus. I can't find the picture of the one I love most...but they are all so much fun! I have the same glasses and plates she shows here. I thought it would be fun to put together a table setting to honor ME. I was amazed at what I had accumulated over the years.

I love the red-stripe Hazel Atlas tumblers.
The old spool is now a place-card holder.
Finally...a chance to display the darling napkins I found so long ago.

I am so grateful for my life and the beautiful morning.
The oranges have faded to browns and rusts...so many combinations of colors and textures to be found.
Have a Thankful Day.

Congratulations To Kris! YOu are a lucky girl!!
Shirley your table is wonderful! I will be over soon for Christmas cookies, hot chocolate and to visit a while and maybe craft the day away with you!! Oh, that is such a sweet dream!
The table is beautiful!
Hugs,

WHAT?! I missed a give away? Where was I? Hmmm...
Oh, congrats to Kris. ;)
Love the tables! I've always admired a well dressed table but I never do them for some reason. I think it's because I have all boys and they could care less and they want LOTS of room for the food! ♥
This is just the sweetest little Christmas table I have ever seen. I expect little gingerbread men to come out dancing on the plates any minute! Wow!!!
I love it!

Hi Shirley!
I'm popping in to see what's new. I just love your table. I think it's cuter than the one in the book. I love the bright colors, and the spool placecard holders are a great idea. I wish I could find those tumblers somewhere. And of course you know how I am about polka dots!
I hope you're having a good weekend-
Betsy
