I promised myself, night before last, that if I got all my chores done before I went to bed, I could spend all day crafting something cute...but not necessarily useful. I had so much fun making the tiny aprons! Grandma Zetta would probably shake her head at the lack of practicality.
Creative Breathing
Someone who would understand is Elizabeth of Creative Breathing...after all her work was my inspiration. If you ever visited Elizabeth's blog you would have her in your "favorite places" within minutes. I go there whenever I want to escape to a peaceful place of fun and fantasy. I can be a child again...in Grandma Patta's doll room watching her make a gown for a china doll. Elizabeth creates for the joy of it...no practicality allowed.
These are a couple of close-ups of the letters. I used paper mache letters from Hobby Lobby. Vintage buttons were used, and cute blue bird graphics. The little aprons are on red and white striped string from a vintage package of Christmas card hangers. The tiny clothes pins were part of the kit.
Happy chaos when the Blue Birds come to visit!
May the Blue Bird of Happiness be with you today!
