Tomorrow March is here at last! In February, it doesn't seem like spring will ever come. But March gives me hope! I am still trying to get the snowmen off the front door garland...but it keeps snowing and blowing. I have the cutest Easter wreath from Disney. It's all pink and pretty with Thumper at the center. I can't wait to dig it out of the storeroom and get some Spring in (my front) steps.
The bunny card to the left is one of my favorite graphics. I've had it for a few years now...this year I think he will feature in a few projects. I finished a couple of things last weekend to share.
Re-Purposed Mini Muffin Tin...
It's quite small...only 7" by 9".
Birds and nests are a few of my most favorite things.
Tin Sign w/Vintage Postcard...
Quick and easy project...got frame from Pick Your Plum last Halloween.
Large Oval Gift Box....
This will be filled with Easter treats for a fund-raiser.
Thank you for letting me share my first Easter projects for 2012. I have a lot more ideas running around like toddlers inside my head. I hope to share those as well...when they've settled down long enough to be created. =D
Note: I just noticed that this is my 100th post! I cannot believe it! I only started the blog in August.
Thank you, everyone for encouraging me!
That is the cutest bunny ever!!
ReplyDeleteSpring is here in Kansas, but then again, we are still waiting for Winter. Ok, we did have some cold weather, but I think I only had to wear a heavy coat once. Anyway, tornadoes last night and 73 for tomorrow. Since the tulips have sprouted, I really hope Winter doesn't decide to show up late.
Hope Spring arrives soon for you.
I'm thinking I may begin making my Easter cards tomorrow..
ReplyDeleteYour muffin tin is so sweet with the birdies and nest! I just LOVE Easter/spring!
Let's have some creating FUN!

Yesterday it was in the 60s here, but today it's a little chillier. Boy did it give me hope!
ReplyDeleteYour latest projects are so cute. I love the mini-muffin tin, and the box reminded me of those that you made me--which I still have out because they are just too cute to put away!

Easter! Spring! Two of my most favorite words! I haven't pulled out my Easter stuff yet but hope to get to it sometime this weekend. Hmmm... thinking how can I use that bunny image??? I'm sure I'll find something to use him on!

Shirley! Congratulations on your 100th post! You have such a happy blog! I love that little bunny face, too! I am so ready for Spring, and it keeps snowing. Well, my kids have Spring break at the end of the month, and one thing for sure.. it always seems to blizzard! But I know Spring has to be on the way! I saw little tiny green blades popping through in my onion bed!
ReplyDeleteLove your crafts as usual. The minimuffin tin is adorable, can I steal that idea?
Blessings,
Susie
